As the name of our studio suggests, Charlie Nunn is the photographer and I (Raymond Janis) am the animal wrangler/producer. We both grew up in Tennessee, surrounded by all sorts of animals and while we didn’t know each other then, our formative years were similar - dogs were better friends to us than the kids our age. That gives us a feeling of comfort and ease that just comes naturally around our four legged friends. When we’re not photographing animals, we’re spending time with our own pack - Simba, Tucker, Tilda and Molly.

We started our studio in 2016, focusing on private commissions, providing contemporary artwork for animal lovers. Since we are in (West) Hollywood, our work has evolved to include editorial projects with leading entertainers as well as commercial work with companies like Blue Buffalo and Purina.
