What is your location and hours?

We’re located in the heart of West Hollywood on Fountain Ave, just East of La Cienega. We offer off-street parking at our home-based studio. We book portrait sessions every day of the week except Mondays and Tuesdays.

How long will the session last?

We block off a two-hour window for your shoot. Given the attention span of our subjects, actual shoot-time is about 75 to 90 minutes. The extra time gives us an opportunity to meet and ensure everyone is comfortable with the studio setting and lights.

Can humans participate?

Yes! In fact, we highly encourage it! While that decision is ultimately up to you, we suggest you come camera ready if you’re even slightly considering being in some of the photos. We can even arrange a “hair & makeup” appointment before your shoot.

What about children?

We love photographing children with their animal family members! It’s the beginning of what’s bound to be a life-long bond with animals. Sadly, I don’t have a portrait with my first dog, Ringo. If I did, I know it would be a cherished possession.

What if my dogs wouldn’t win a “best-trained dog of the year” award?

Neither would 99% of the other animals we’ve photographed! We’ve encountered countless personalities and have developed many techniques to capture your dog or cat’s personality.

What happens when we’re finished with the shoot?

We’ll schedule a time for you to return and review the image proofs. This is an in-person meeting where we’ll help you select your favorites and then what you’d like to do with them.

What are your rates?

Your up-front cost is $199 for the Studio Portrait Session sitting fee. Half this fee is due when you book your appointment with the remainder due when we meet for your image review. Print-wise, everything we offer is a la carte. Fine Art Prints start at $199 and go up according to size and if you get if framed. We have a full-service framer as well as an amazing program to help you visualize what your prints will look like on your own walls, matted, framed and to scale.  It takes much of the guess work out of the process!

What about digital images?

Our focus is on creating artwork for your home, but we understand the desire for digital images, that’s why we include the accompanying digital file of any print purchased at no extra cost. If you decide you like more images than you could possibly have as prints, we also offer digital packages of 10 for $399 or 20 for $599. These packages are add-ons to any print purchase. We don’t offer a digital-only portrait session.
